Hi Everyone!
As the new community intern here at Doe, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kara and I’ll be uploading weekly blogs. I enjoy baking, binge watching Never Have I Ever, and hanging out with friends. I’m a foodie by heart and always down to have a good time. I live in Los Angeles, so I’m always near coffee shops. Hint: My favorite coffee is an iced vanilla latte (with oat milk because I’m lactose-intolerant).
Growing up, I actually was not interested in beauty until early high school. That’s when I discovered lip tints, eyebrow gel, and…lashes! I remember not being able to put on lashes because they were super intimidating to me. However, when I did put it on, they were crooked and did not look good on my eye shape. It wasn’t until one morning where I scrolled on Instagram and found a Doe ad. When I clicked it, I immediately became fascinated by their packaging. I thought to myself - “I have to try this out.”
Three years later, I’m working at my dream internship. Who would have guessed that an avid customer like me could be working with such creative and talented people? Doe has constantly inspired me from day one and continues to with their creatives, packaging, products, and workplace culture. I hope you guys learn to appreciate Doe as much as I do hehe.
