As a fellow college student, I can say from first hand experience that school can be stressful. Whether that be turning in eight page reports or memorizing fifty terms before a test, school can definitely be difficult for those that don’t know how to life balance. Here are some tips on how apply a self-care routine with a busy schedule.
Treat Yourself
You should pick a day within a week to fully relax. This can include a bubble bath session, buying those cute falsies, or just going to the bookstore. It is important to have a day where you can relax by yourself and enjoy your own company.
Journal
Journaling is a great way to jot down your thoughts and look back on past memories. Journaling can help you understand yourself better as well as others actions. It is a great stress reliever as well.
Nap
Whenever you have time, take a small nap. Usually, 20 minute or 1 hour naps are the best, as they help with efficiency and memory. Naps also are great for those that don’t get enough sleep during the day.
Finally..be kind to yourself!
It’s easy to be hard on yourself on situations you can’t control. But just remember that you can’t a situation if it’s already happened. So the best way to move forward is to be kind to yourself.
